We are happy to hear from you about:
- Questions about a guide. If something in a guide is unclear, tell us which page and which part. Your question may help us improve the guide for everyone.
- Error reports. If you think a fact is wrong or out of date, choose “Report an error or outdated fact”. Please include the page address and, if you can, a link to an official source. Our corrections page explains what happens next.
- Privacy and data requests. To ask what data we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, choose “Data or privacy request”. See our data request page for details.

What we cannot help with
The Mortgage Guide Hub is an educational publication. We are not a lender, broker, loan originator, government agency, law firm or financial adviser. That means we cannot:
- give personal loan, legal or tax advice
- tell you whether you will be approved
- take loan applications or accept financial documents
- recommend a specific lender or help you with a loan you already have
Please do not send us bank statements, tax returns, Social Security numbers, ITINs or other sensitive documents.
For one-on-one help, a HUD-approved housing counselor can talk through your options, often at low or no cost. You can find one with HUD’s housing counselor search. If you have a problem with a lender or loan servicer, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau accepts complaints.

Can you tell me if I qualify for a loan?
No. We cannot review your situation or give personal loan advice. A HUD-approved housing counselor or a licensed loan officer can help with your own case.
Can I pay to be featured in a guide?
No. We do not sell placements, rankings or mentions in our guides. Payment never changes what we write.
What happens to the details I send?
Your name, email and message go to our email inbox and are kept only as long as needed to reply. We do not sell or share your personal information.
